With recent news of EA bringing additional support to the Wii, both Ubisoft and Midway have confirmed a selection of projects in development for Nintendo's unique machine, despite various developers claiming the Wii isn't capable enough.
During the Ziff Davis Electronic Games Summit yesterday, Ubi's North American president Laurent Detoc noted that seven titles are in development for the Wii, two of which have already been seen public ally: Rayman Raving Rabbids and Red Steel.
He praised the Wii various times during his announcements, saying he expects the Wii to have "a large audience and market" for "The first time I picked up that sucker I couldn't stop playing it."
Midway also confirmed their support, with six titles in development. One of these presumably being the recently confirmed Mortal Kombat for Wii.
Whether these titles (aside from those mentioned above) are exclusives or multiplatform are currently unknown.
Stay tuned for updates.
