Nintendo Wii Media | Red Steel Screens, Art and Information Overload

Ubisoft have uploaded various artwork, screens and concept renders from their upcoming exclusive Wii project, Red Steel. The first person shooter/swordplay title takes players into the world of the Japanese mafia.

    Hmm - I am excited to play this game, but the storyline does seem pretty dissapointing... OMG avenge me, save my daughter!

    Looking pretty sexy screen wise though! People have complained about the faces, but I reckon they look great. I mean, if they wanted pure perfection then get a barbie doll or something.

    I wonder how historically accurate this game is....

    I never expect a decent storyline when it comes to video games. Even the best of games have terrible storylines, e.g Prey.

    I'd rather it were like the old days, where you were told your aim without shitty voice acting. Just a simple storyline that gives you the jist of what your doing, like Super Mario Bros, Sonic, etc.

    i think this sounds great, i like games invloving the mob in this cause the japanese mob, well better than the russian mob

    I also like the graphics the story is a bit dissappointing but who gives a monkey's willy if the story is swallow if the game rocks.

    this bad boy is getting added to my launch list beside LOZ, MP, ET and Wii Sports can't wait

    Story:
    You get to kill people with a sword and a gun using the Wii controller! Who cares what the rest is.

    Yep, the story sounds great to me.

    Maybe they'll throw in a twist and make it a great story. The girl could really be an alien and they are planning to take over the world. You just took out a bunch of bad guys for them and now they want to brainwash you into one of their zombie soldiers. You then get a laser sword and cool laser guns and drive a spaceship. You watch, it'll happen. Ubisoft can create a story when they need to!

    Agreed, but they aren't too bad. The environments and the katana look a lot better imo.

    I doubt there will be multiplayer, the game is being rushed as it is.

    It's been in development for some time now. Apparently there will be split screen multiplayer, but no Wi-Fi.

    Yeah, it's the smaller defence sword. Looks like it's at that angle/position because it's just deflected the guy's katana.

    Nice work typing all that up jb, and it's looking better. I don't think Ubisoft will let us down with this one.
