Seeing Tetris DS already showing such strength is amazing. The PS2 has REALLY slowed down lately, with most games hitting hard with ~400,000-500,000 units in week one, then disappearing fast.

Everything was on the up this week: GBA Mario back, Mother 1+2 moving up again, Children of Mana getting ever closer to 300,000 units (more than people thought it would) and even Starfi 4 (why no US release Nintendo? Damn you!) is back up again!

Oh, and Mother 3...three weeks on, ~300,000 units sold. Could reach 500,000 with ease (hopefully).

Brain Training 2 has just outsold the original in Japan and English Training came within a whisker of securing a million sales as well...3 Brain Training games in the top 10 and they've sold a total of 5 million between them in Japan alone Smilie .

It's also nice to see Tetris plonking itself onto the number 1 spot as well! Smilie (Do these Japanese people know how old that game is? Smilie )

The regular DS seems to be having stock troubles, down to about 8,000, then up to 42,000 and back down to 24,000...

DS Lite is also apparently running low once again...which is not surprising considering it's sold a million in about a month!

Just imagine what's going to happen when Mario DS hits!! Smilie

And the crazy thing is that the PSP is doing EXTREMELY well. It's just seen the core Ceramic White package released a couple of weeks ago and is really picking up in terms of hardware sales. It's just that nobody is buying games... Smilie
