E3 2003 | Press Release | Super Mario Advance 4

Super Mario Advance 4 was announced a while ago, but other details were scanter than any sign of Duke Nukem Forever at this year's E3. And next year's E3. Various rumours have suggested this latest Advance title would be a brand new 2D Mario adventure, or alternatively a remake of the N64 game Yoshi's Story, but actually, SMA4 is a remake of landmark platforming NES game Super Mario Bros 3.
We're expecting some official screenshots soon, but already from the Japanese magazine shots we can tell you that this remake looks similar, but much more vibrant, than the original NES version.

You can also expect to find another bonus Mario Bros mini game to be included with the title, which is due for release in Japan in November - hopefully US and European releases won't be too far behind.
