This, as far as we are aware, is the final design of the Wii controller. It features the logo of the system and most importantly has a speaker included (just below the power button). This speaker, Nintendo claim will add a brilliantly innovative new feature to the system. The example they used during a demonstration was firing an arrow from a bow. When you pull back and fire, the sound of the arrow travels from the controller speaker and then 'moving' to the speakers on your TV system when it hits its target. The thud sound of the arrow hitting your enemy should be more satisfying than ever! Yet another example of how Nintendo are trying to make gaming more immersive by breaking down gameplay barriers and putting you in the game, not with graphics, but with touch, feel and now even sound!
Expect a full hands on with the Nintendo Wii from our reporters at E3 tomorrow!
