Below is a list of games that EGM has confirmed as coming to the Nintendo Wii. However, as ever, this run-down could change at the last minute.

The 'Sonic Wild Fire [ Winter 2006 ]' statement conflicts with the other release date in the news post below as well. Also has anyone else noticed the 'speaker in the controller rumours' and 'always online' functionality in the wii? check out www.nintendorevolution.ca

There's usually a few games that sneak in late on. I'd regard this as a provisional list.

MP3 for 2007? I thought it might be a release game. Still, Red Steel as 2006 is good enough for me. The Wii needs and FPS near release. I'm sure there will be changes there, but its nice to have games like AC and Smash bros on the list.

It looks like a good line-up, just a bit dissapointed with SSB not being released at launch. But I would rather a higher-quality game than a rushed one.

Thats basically Wii launch line up then, there'll be maybe a few more titles with a new IP from Nintendo, hopefully we'll hear about that today. Several titles i'm looking forward too Smilie

Out of those there's 4 launch games I'm following in (Final Fantasy, Super Monkey Ball, Red Steel and Mario), with a few others I'm vaguely interested in.

It's too bad Super Smash bros., Animal Crossing and Metroid won't be out until next year though!
