Quick News: In the recent Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Nintendo's highly anticipated RPG Mother 3 has just scored big. The title, in development for the GBA after cancellation for the N64, was rated exceptionally high by Famitsu reviewers. Four scores are given to form a total out of 40.

Mother 3 (Earthbound 2): 10, 8, 8, 9 (35/40)

Here's hoping for a Western release!

Everyone says Mother is so good, but it looks so boring to me. Well I can't make a credible opinion without playing it can I?

I played Earthbound on the SNES, brilliant game, everything to look forwad to, hoping it, at least gets an American release.

I am always curious as to what the motivation was for the reviewers to score it the way they did. Is that ever made public globally? (i.e. in English)

Want this - not a bad score but I'd get it anyway. Not scored as highly as FFXII (40/40) but I'm willing to give it a go!!

Adored Earthbound and so want this to be westernised.

Apparently (According to Adam/Jesusraz - at work at the moment), the reviewer's views were something like "the scenario, script and background music are all great", something like that.
