Splatoon 2 to Splat onto Switch this Summer

Ink at the ready as the squids return in Splatoon 2 for Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo is brewing a new installment in the Splatoon series with a full sequel penned for the new console. Confirmed this morning in Nintendo's Switch centric broadcast, the new game will include a selection of new stages, fashion accessories and weapons to enjoy. 

As an upgrade to the original Wii U release, Splatoon 2 will also include dedicated voice chat, available through the Nintendo Switch smart device app, plus improved local multiplayer. As with the original, Nintendo is planning on adding a wealth of content post-launch through DLC.

Splatoon 2 will be splatting turfs this summer.
