Mario Sports Superstars announced for 3DS

A brand new Mario sports compilation game, Mario Sports Superstars, has been announced for Nintendo 3DS featuring five sports: baseball, tennis, golf, 11-v-11 soccer, and horse racing.

Each sport features a single player tournament mode as well as local and online multiplayer modes.

Nintendo promises that these are "full-scale sports" with "more to them then you may expect".

Few other details were released beyond some brief footage, so expect more details to come between now and when the game releases in spring 2017.
