More Super Mario Series amiibo Announced

Seven new additions to the Super Mario series line of amiibo have been revealed.

They will be joining the previously released Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Toad, and Yoshi amiibo from the same line.

The new figures include:

Boo (who glows in the dark)
Daisy
Waluigi
Donkey Kong
Diddy Kong
Rosalina
Wario

Waluigi, Daisy, and Boo will be appearing in amiibo form for the first time while the others will feature different poses from their Super Smash Bros. series counterparts.

All seven will be released on November 4th in North America, while the European release is split between October 7th (Boo, Donkey Kong, Rosalina, and Wario) and November 4th (Waluigi, Diddy Kong, and Daisy).

The amiibo will be compatible with the new Mario Party: Star Rush for Nintendo 3DS. Other game compatibility has not yet been confirmed.

I'm loving that they didn't just make a white Boo like they could have. They actually took the extra step of making him glow-in-the-dark.

The Boo is glow in the dark? May actually have to pick that one up then!

Wasn't really fussed about this Super Mario range apart from Toad (in the first wave) because all of the other characters had Smash Bros. amiibo and those were the ones I'm focused on collecting. I have all the Smash Bros. ones so far! Just need Corrin, Cloud and Bayonetta, whenever they're gonna come out.
