Mario Meets Minecraft in Free Wii U Update

Minecraft won't be the same again with familiar Nintendo faces being brought into the mix in the Wii U Edition.

This week, Nintendo announced a unique partnership with Mojang and Microsoft to bring the two colourful worlds of Super Mario and Minecraft together. The "Super Mario Mash-up Pack" will be available exclusively for the Minecraft: Wii U Edition as a free update. Fend off Hammer Bros, skin the landscape with Mario themes and transform characters into the likes of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach.

The pack includes 40 new Mario-themed skins, redone world/item textures and 15 pieces of music from Super Mario 64.
