Splatoon has covered the continent in ink with the game selling over a million units across Europe to date.
Nintendo's Wii U shooter has been a surprise hit since launch last year, with legions of fans heading online to battle one another in competitive multiplayer matches. New weapons, multiplayer maps and game modes have been added since launch, together with regular "Splatfests" that challenge you to pick a team and go for glory over a messy 24 hour session.
Now the game has sold over 3.5 million units worldwide, and over a million in Europe, with more in store from the game's developers soon.
