The Oscars red carpet has been rolled up and stored away, and the spotlight moves to 1950s Hollywood in the latest edition of Talking Pictures, the audio version of Lights, Camera, Action!
Released in cinemas this week is the latest from the Coen Brothers, nostalgic comedy Hail, Caesar! Its A-List cast includes George Clooney, Josh Brolin, and Scarlett Johansson, as well as Channing Tatum, who is in The Big Interview's hot seat to talk about learning to dance for the film. Cubed3's resident film critic, Freda Cooper, also checks new arrivals Goodnight Mommy, a horror from Austria, and all-action flick, London Has Fallen.
As for the week's new DVDs, they all have a decidedly feminine feel. There's Oscar and BAFTA nominated Brooklyn, historical drama, Suffragette, and inspirational documentary, He Named Me Malala. There's also the new Top Five at the British Box Office, and the movie news is back where it belongs.
All of this is packed into the essential guide to the movies, which is just 20 minutes long. It's available on iTunes, TuneIn and right here on Cubed3:
