Two big Oscar contenders take centre stage on this week's Talking Pictures, the audio version of Lights, Camera, Action! Among the new releases, there is Hollywood drama, Trumbo, and Bryan Cranston settles into the Big Interview hot seat to talk about his award-nominated role. Then there is Sicario, out this week on DVD, which is up for three Oscars, including one for British cinematographer Roger Deakins.

Cubed3's resident film critic, Freda Cooper, also checks out a good, old-fashioned piece of family entertainment, in the shape of Goosebumps, while Dad's Army arrives on the big screen for the second time - the first film version of the sitcom was 45 years ago. From further afield, as well, comes Japanese anime Miss Hokusai, alongside Rams, which is set in an Icelandic farming community.

The other DVD this week is Life, which looks at actor James Dean, just before he made it big, plus there's the new Top Five at the British Box Office, and this is all squeezed into exactly 20 minutes. The essential guide to the movies is on iTunes, TuneIn and right here on Cubed3:
