It's been 25 years since Sega game birth to the iconic blue hedgehog, Sonic.
Some icons have a brief stint in the spotlight, a game or two, but others can sail through time with a strong fanbase. One of these mascots is Sonic the Hedgehog, the cheeky, hot-dog scoffing face of Japanese publisher, SEGA, for a quarter of a century.
Whilst he now bares green, slightly drugged, eyes and longer spikes, Sonic reverts back to his classic look in the logo for his anniversary.
