Level-5 Teases Sequel to Popular Game on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The folk behind Professor Layton and Inazuma Eleven has a sequel to a popular series planned for 2016.

The Japanese powerhouse has had a successful few years with key releases bringing in thousands of new fans, with exclusive projects launching on Nintendo 3DS. There'll be a variety of new games with fresh, original ideas coming in 2016, confirmed President Akihiro Hino to 4Gamer this week.

One of these new projects, though, will be a sequel to a "very popular series," Hino teased.

He wasn't able to go into much detail beyond that, so whatever's brewing inside Level-5 towers is a much guarded secret for now!

Maybe it's a real sequel to Layton or Fantasy Life? Hur hur.

Jokes aside though, if it's anything like "Layton 7" or Fantasy Life "2", I'm not interested.
