The Action Packed SteamWorld Heist Launch Trailer

SteamWorld Heist is out this week on the Nintendo eShop, complete with a tasty launch discount.

From the makers of SteamWorld Dig comes a new tale in the series, a space-adventure jam packed with tactical shootouts in a blend of real-time, side-scrolling action.

The mission in Heist is to recruits a rag-tag team of steam-driven robots as Captain Piper, blasting through enemy ships and arming these new recruits with weapons, abilities and even new hats to protect their tough metal skulls.

SteamWorld Heist will be available from 10th December  with a 15% launch discount ($16.99 / €16.99 / £11.99) till 31st December, complete with a nifty 3DS homescreen theme.
