PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale may retain the original Japanese voice tracks if all goes to plan.
In an interview with localisation specialist Thomas Lipshultz, he confirmed how it's highly likely that the game will have the two Japanese language tracks, in addition to the English, localised version. The team are just finalising the paperwork, but Lipshultz feels it's "about 90% right now." For characters Pietro and Narcia, there were two separate, distinct tracks - with a more 90s-styled approach for one of the scripts, and a more modern take for the other option.
So you get to pick which type of Japanese voice you'd prefer: something a little more in line with the classic feel of the game, or something a little more modern - or you get to choose English! Assuming we have the Japanese options in, of course, which it's looking like we will.
