Super Mario Maker Sells Over 1 Million Copies on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Mario fans have always been regarded as some of the most loyal video game fans and they've proved it again with Super Mario Maker on the Wii U selling over one million copies worldwide in less than three weeks.

Super Mario Maker allows gamers to create their own levels within the Super Mario universe in four different flavours of Mario era graphics. Creators can choose from a wide selection of enemies, items, power-ups and terrain and then share their level with their friends.

With a potential one million new level creators, this has resulted in over 2.2 million Super Mario courses which have been played by other gamers nearly a whopping 75 million times.
