Yosuke Hayashi, Producer of Hyrule Warriors, has shared new details on the Nintendo 3DS version.
He noted how the decision to bring the meaty Wii U brawler to Nintendo's handheld was mainly driven by fan feedback and requests to be able to play the game on Nintendo 3DS. Given that there is an audience for The Legend of Zelda on portables, too, the team decided to expand on the concept and give it a whirl.
One of the advantages of owning a New Nintendo 3DS / XL will be stereoscopic 3D; as the 3D effect won't be available for standard 3DS/2DS consoles, Hayashi confirmed.
For those expecting more DLC content for Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends, Hayashi said that the DLC content from the Wii U version will included on Nintendo 3DS, but wouldn't be transferrable. There isn't additional content planned just yet, however there will be characters for the 3DS release that haven't been revealed just yet...
The team are currently wrapping up development on Hyrule Warriors Legends, with The Wind Waker content download codes provided in the box for those with the Wii U version (or to give away).
