Splatoon Web App Can Tweet Online Status

Nintendo has an introduced a way for Splatoon fanatics to share their online status with friends on Twitter.

The Splatoon web app, which, at time of writing is still in Japanese only, offers those with a valid Nintendo Network ID the opportunity to view the current level rotations, friends and more. The update allows players to generate a nifty image that lets followers on Twitter know when to turn on their Wii U and get playing, a bit like this:
