Dance in the Inkling Disco with Splatune, the Splatoon Soundtrack

Japanese magazine Famitsu has confirmed the release of the official Splatoon soundtrack in Japan this October.

To be known as the amusingly titled Splatune, the compilation bundles together various different songs from the game so far - including 37 songs (including the most recent crop), 14 sound effect tracks and 10 jingles for good measure. 

The album will also contain booklets with commentary from the development team, lyrics and alternative album covers for the dedicated Splatoon enthusiast.

Splatune will be available for 3200 Yen (around $26/£17/€22).
