Final Fantasy XIV Online Could Get Nintendo NX Release on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo RPG fans could well be in for a treat with the potential for Final Fantasy XIV Online: A Realm Reborn to be released on NX.

Japanese RPG giant Square Enix are currently negotiating a deal with Microsoft that would allow folk who play the game on Xbox One and Windows to play together.

With two major platforms in the Final Fantasy XIV Online loop, could Nintendo players venture into the wireless world of Final Fantasy?

Negotiations on the Nintendo front haven't yet started, and Square Enix would need to know if Nintendo are open for cross-platform support, but it's certainly an option - Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida said in an interview with DualShockers.

Should Nintendo open up the doors for cross-platform play to ensure games like Final Fantasy XIV get Nintendo NX treatment?

No they shouldn't. Because then I would pick this game up again and I remember what happened last time... o.o I have never played a single game as much as I played this one.

The difference between illusion and reality is vague to the one who suffers from the former and questionable for the one suffering form the later.
