The Splatling Gun in Splatoon is Relentless

A new gameplay snippet for Splatoon shows just how deadly the new Gatling gun-type weapon is in action.

Nintendo have been hard at work inside the ol' weapons factory in producing a growing arsenal of tools to spray ink in the online shooter, and one of the latest additions is the "Splatling" - a meaty machine gun with a relentless fire rate.

It does appear to need a fair bit of charging in order to work, however, but does offer a solid rate and a fairly long firing distance too.

The Splatling will be available as part of the major August Splatoon update, which includes new weapons (like the Splosher bucket), increased gaps and online matchmaking features.
