The full Satoru Iwata 2005 GDC Keynote has been posted on YouTube this week.
The Nintendo president, who sadly passed away last week, has known to the industry and wider gaming demographic as a keen speaker with an abundance of ideas to share on stage. One of Iwata's more well known presentations was "Heart of Gamer", a keynote held at the 2005 Game Developers Conference.
During the presentation, Iwata discussed the different approaches to game development, highlighting key ideas with the then-new Nintendo DS console, how the pair of screens come together.
The keynote was also when he coined the memorable line, "On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer."
