With Devil's Third coming out over five years since being announced, what made creator Tomonobu Itagaki persist on the project?
The eclectic, action game is now on the way to Wii U, having been reworked for Nintendo's console. With Itagaki at the helm, he was asked why he didn't give up on bringing his ideas to the living room.
Speaking to Japanese magazine Famitsu this week, he admitted how he "didn't want to betray fans. The game is a grand sum of the work from all of the developers, so I really hope you pick it up." Itagaki feels that Devil's Third "will become a breakthrough" and how the game would "take shooters to the next level."
