Pixel Mario, Animal Crossing amiibo Spotted

More potential amiibo figures have been spotted in the wild, though a Nintendo of Europe email.

As part of a banner image for the company's email promotions, new amiibo figures were shown - including what could be a retro Mario figure for Mario Maker, a quartet of Animal Crossing figures, and the previously announced amiibo Animal Crossing cards.

It's likely that the Animal Crossing figures could have similar functionality to the amiibo cards, perhaps adding an additional option for those who want something more than a glossy piece of A7 card.
