Koji Igarashi's spiritual successor to Castlevania enters its final couple of hours on Kickstarter and hits the final stretch goal of $5.5 million.
As announced on the Twitch live stream, where the team at Inti Creates is counting down to the ending of the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Kickstarter campaign, the combined total of backer contributions has now surpassed the amount needed to unlock the Boss Revenge Mode.
Bloodstained has blasted through its recent targets, including a prequel mini-game for consoles and portables, as well as a roguelike dungeon, and it is the Boss Revenge Mode that will also make its way into the game.
In this mode, players will get to control several different bosses, causing havoc with their special moves in a Boss Revenge area, and attempt to defeat the heroes in boss battles of their own to bring an end to humanity.
Backer achievements getting met has also meant main character Miriam will get a new outfit known as the Pure Costume, showing her getup before she got infected by the magi-crystal.
