One of the striking features of the upcoming 3DS brawler Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 is the game's Edit Mode.
Taking inspiration from Samurai Warriors 4, the game will allow players for a "very deep level of customisation," offering up a vast selection of weapons, armour and accessories, plus the chance to truly customise a warrior's look through facial modifiers.


For the first time in the series, though, players will be able to equip customised characters with famous warriors that they meet throughout the adventure. That element of NPC interaction is a bigger focus this time round, with players providing a listening ear to affect the way the storyline pans out.
Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 will be available on 3DS and PS Vita as a digital download on 26th June in Europe and 30th June across North America. In the meantime, here's a pair of new gameplay videos and screenshots:
