Mega Man Legacy Collection Coming to 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

An anthology of Mega Man games will be hitting various consoles this year, with bonus content, Capcom announced today.

Mega Man Legacy Collection is a set of the original six Mega Man titles, presented in "crisp 1080p and enhanced with modern bonuses." The game will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC digital storefronts over the summer periods, with a digital eShop release planned for 3DS this winter.

There'll be a set of challenges, a museum with useful Mega Man nuggets and a test for the biggest Blue Bomber fans.

Those who complete the challenges in the best time will have their replay data available to everyone, helping newbies and seasoned platforming pros learn a thing or two about the difficult world of Mega Man.

Will you rejoin the Mega Man story in Mega Man Legacy Collection this year?

8-bit style with HD flair... What does that mean?

I own all the consoles, ask me anything

Great to see Mega Man getting some HD love.....caint wait to see what the new representative capcom hiered is going to do next for Mega Man.....

I can't believe Capcom isn't developing this for Wii U. I don't know. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised at this point. Still. Shame on them. There's no excuse not to bring it to Wii U.

And why only include the first six NES games? Why not include Mega Man 7, 8, Mega Man & Bass (the original SFC version but properly localized), Soccer, both Power Battle games and the five Game Boy games? It is called the Legacy Collection, after all. Make it truly worth our while.

...freak'n Capcom... *sigh*

Chance favors the prepared mind.

I've got the Anniversary Collection on Gamecube, but...

I'll still be getting this. Mega Man 3. Nailed it.

@Agul, it's probably only the first six to distinguish it from the Anniversary Collection. It had both Power Battles on it, in addition to 1-8.

Has Anyone Really Been Far Even as Decided to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like?

They really need a battle network collection for 3ds, since there's already a classic, x and zero collection out.
