More Beast Slaying with Monster Hunter X on 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The Monster Hunter love continues on Nintendo 3DS, with Monster Hunter X coming to the handheld.

Building off the success of Monster Hunter 4, the new game (pronounced Monster Hunter Cross) will use the same engine with a stronger focus on the hunter. This time round, there'll be four styles of play to use, each with unique special moves and a focus on personalising the hunting style.

The team wanted to bring more variety to the experience, with a greater number of actions so that both aspiring and new hunters can find their own way of slaying beasts.

The usual upgrades will be woven into the Monster Hunter X experience, including various new moves, monsters, locations and more.

In with the new, but also in with the old as villages from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generations of Monster Hunter will return.

The difference between illusion and reality is vague to the one who suffers from the former and questionable for the one suffering form the later.
