Want to relive the Game Boy Advance take on the popular Mario Kart series? Super Circuit is coming to the Wii U eShop.

Developed by the folk behind the Fire Emblem series, Intelligent Systems, and released back in 2001, Mario Kart: Super Circuit brought all the racing action to Nintendo handhelds for the first time. The game is also the origin of "Cheese Land" and "Ribbon Road", to be featured in Mario Kart 8 DLC.

The game features twenty new and twenty retro tracks, Time Trial, Battle, Versus and Quick Run features, plus a wide range of characters and items to use.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit will be available to download on the Wii U eShop in Europe from this Thursday.

I wonder when there will be more announcements of N64 and DS games coming. My body is ready to dive in again in Paper Mario Smilie, been some years since last time I played it and will get it at the discounted price. Will appreciate being able to play it on the gamepad and have it neatly lined with the rest of my VC games.
