Mario's 30th Anniversary Video Created With Mario Maker

Nintendo have released a short video celebrating the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., released in 1985.

However, there's a twist: the video uses forthcoming title Mario Maker to show off the evolution of the series' visuals.


 

It comes as the company reveal more information on the game. Mario Maker will allow players to create custom levels based around the aesthetics of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros. U and share them across the globe.

Mario Maker launches in September on Wii U.
