Since the first murmurings of Halo on the Game Boy Advance started to surface there has been uproar throughout both the gaming community and the Industry itself. How could Microsoft possibly let the Bungie-developed Halo come to a Nintendo format? After all, the First-Person Shooter is the XBOX's highest selling game so far and equally performed extremely well when ported to the PC. Why share that success with Nintendo?

Backing-up this negative viewpoint is Bungie itself, who had this to say on the matter:

[i]"Recent internet reporting has suggested that a Game Boy version of Halo is in the works. We can officially lay that rumor to rest. There is no Game Boy version of Halo planned, and none in production. It's very unlikely that such a version would ever happen for all the obvious reasons, and the less obvious reasons, that the ColecoVision talks fell apart and The Bandai Pippin version is taking up all our development bandwidth
