Want to use your growing amiibo collection with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS? An update for the game will do just that.
To be available from 10th February, the free patch for the portable version of Super Smash Bros. will enable support for the interactive Nintendo figures. It's uncertain just what capacity the functionality will provide, just yet, but it's likely to be similar - if not the same - to the game's bigger brother on Wii U.
The download will be available on North America and Europe from 13th February, allowing folk with New Nintendo 3DS consoles to tap in their figures.
As for older Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems, however, Nintendo do plan on releasing a plugin device to allow NFC figures to be used - plans for this, however, are still to be announced.
