Enhanced Antipole DX Remake for 3DS and Wii U on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Saturnine Games have announced a new project, a remake of Antipole with new visuals and sounds.

The game is described as a run and gun 2D platformer with a unique ability to reverse gravity for some mind-bending challenges. Antipole was originally devised for DSiWare, PC and Xbox Live, and now returns as an enhanced edition, Antipole DX, for both 3DS and Wii U.

The studio note how Antipole DX will feature levels recreated from scratch with new areas and revised designs, reworked bosses and additional content that wasn't able to be squeezed onto the original package.

Developer Edward Di Geronimo Jr. is hoping to "do a lot more with the enemies that also had the ability to reverse gravity, and to expand on the levels that had different than normal gravity."
