Final Fantasy Explorers DLC Adds New Boss and Class on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The fourth wave of downloadable content for Final Fantasy Explorers on 3DS has been released in Japan.

The content comes in two forms: a new class for free, and a new boss which comes at a price. The Samurai class grants high physical attack and allows the player to wield weapons of all ranges (although works best with katanas), while the Omega boss is equipped with a number of weapons and attacks mercilessly.

The Omega boss will cost 400 yen, and appears to be based on a recurring enemy throughout the series.

There is still no official word on a localisation for this currently Japan-only title, although Square-Enix filed a trademark for the title in North America and Europe last year.

Yeah that's Omega as seen in Final Fantasy V among others. A classic boss requiring a very specific strategy to avoid having your entire party wiped out before your eyes before you could even act.
