New Box Art Design for New 3DS Title Xenoblade Chronicles 3D on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The North American box art of the New 3DS exclusive Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is revealed, bringing a new design with it.

Rather than the old style of the Nintendo 3DS logo going down the right side of the box, New 3DS games will feature the more common banner going along the top of the art.

As the first New 3DS exclusive game, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will be the first to feature this new design on its box art.

Gross. Smilie At Least Majora's Mask remains beautiful with it's slim right side banner!

Hmm, a bit chunky, though I guess they would need to get that message across. Still not settled on the NEW 3DS Name, though, really is confusing. What muppets are in charge of Nintendo's marketing/naming?!

Definitely needed to do something to make it clear that this game only works with the new Nintendo 3DS and this does the job.

Not a huge fan of it, design-wise, but I agree that a clear-cut difference had to be made so people understand that this game won't work on the old models. It'll become even more necessary as new games will probably continue to come out exclusively for the new system. I hope merchants do give the new ones their needed shelf space though :/.

i feel like Nintendo has their Product team leading these decisions. Almost like their marketing department are internally ignored. If a marketer came up with this they should hang their head in shame!
