Limited Edition Majora

In today's Nintendo Direct, it was confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D will be launching alongside the New 3DS on February 13th, with a snazzy limited edition New 3DS XL also arriving in Europe on the same date.

Majora's Mask 3D is a remake of the fan-favourite Nintendo 64 game, featuring up-to-date visuals and several game enhancements such as a revamped Bomber's Notebook and the ability to go fishing in the newly introduced fishing hole.

The limited edition New 3DS features a golden paint job on the outer shell of the system, with a black trim around the edge of the top portion, featuring the four transformation masks in the corners and Majora's Mask dominating the centre.

Bet there's loads of people who rushed out and bought a 3DS Ambassador Edition and they're kicking themselves today. I'm sure they'll be many more new designs coming out for the New 3DS XL, as well. If I do get one, I'll be waiting a while to see what comes out.

Can't believe this game is coming so early. I was expecting May, going off of their "Spring" announcement.

Saying that, DOA5LR was down for Spring and that's coming Feb 20th. Either Japanese devs class Feb as Spring, or they're just finding a chance to release these games earlier than expected.

Mental to think I'll be playing this in 1 month. Excited.

If I had money... I would probably buy this!

I want faceplates with this style for the New3DS :O

Time to sell my Link between Worlds XL xD
That is of course if I can actually pre order it from somewhere.

I'm reading that GameStop in the US sold out online in under 15 minutes, and is only taking pre-orders in-store and paid-in-full (probably to combat scalping). About to head out and try my luck myself.

Not a fan of the digital download, but it's worth it in this case.

Edit: They were sold out within minutes, just like online. Bit of a shame, I really don't like the black or red one, but in the end it doesn't matter, at least I'll be able to play Xenoblade, lol.

My blog, mostly about writing: http://www.davidjlovato.com

whats the RRP of this in the UK?

This might be the one I get. I was going for MH edition when I found out the worst possible thing. That MH was installed on the system. The last thing I need is a big, full. retail game that takes up place on my SD card... The space is limited enough as it is already.

The difference between illusion and reality is vague to the one who suffers from the former and questionable for the one suffering form the later.

MM3D is pre-installed in this one, too...

Sure about that? Nintendo seems to disagree. Unless there is any difference in europe, of course, but have been looking around on the site and not found anything about the bundles.

Watch the trailer above, which is for the UK (and I assume EU) version of the system. At the end it says the game is pre-installed software.

Oh... :/ Then it is a regular one then. Need all space I can muster on the memory card.

Buy a larger SD card? I got a 32GB MicroSD for a tenner. More than enough space!

By the way, where the hell can I preorder this thing in the UK? I've looked around but I can't find it anywhere! Is it just that no one has it listed yet? I know MH4U XL is exclusive to GAME (and probably Nintendo's online store.)

This has really shocked me, I am surprised that Nintendo are kicking off the year so strongly. The only thing I can think of is that they are really trying to push unit sales and numbers up before the end of the financial year. It's the only thing that strikes me to make sense. This is the biggest February in Gaming history surely!

£209.99 with 'free' AC adaptor from Nintendo store .. just pre-ordered now. Smilie

Yeah, I already preordered it from there this afternoon. They didn't have it listed in the morning though.
