The folk at Platinum Games have posted a New Year's Greeting on their blog and on YouTube.
With 2015 now in full swing, the team reflected on work on the Wii U exclusive Bayonetta 2, plus the re-worked original game on Nintendo's home console. Tatsuya Minami addressed fans, thanking those "who supported us by purchasing and playing these titles, and to the staff who worked so hard to make these games' releases possible."
We strongly believe that Bayonetta 2 would not have been possible without the critical reception of the first. Both of these games represent important milestones for our company, and we are deeply proud of them.
For the coming year, Platinum will be "experimenting with new ideas for how to give our fans across the world a thrilling user experience that could only come from Platinum. Thank you as always for all your support."
What are you hoping to see from the studio this year?
