UK Fans Plagued by Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Delays on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Fans across the United Kingdom and parts of Europe have been plagued by Super Smash Bros. for Wii U delays.

With the much anticipated release date shifted to 28th November 2014 instead of 5th December 2014, it seems that Nintendo had failed to anticipate demand with multiple retailers unable to complete pre-orders.

Across the internet, disgruntled gamers have reported that the likes of ShopTo and Amazon.co.uk failed to deliver on release day. Despite the shortage, it seems that a fair few players had received their copies, however.

One recurring pattern does seem to stem from the high-demand for the Nintendo GameCube controllers and Wii U controller adapters, with supplies cut short.

Were you able to secure a copy of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U on launch day?

I got mine with GC adapter from ShopTo yesterday - had a lot of fun introducing my fiancée to it! It's the latest I've received something from ShopTo though, I got Alpha Sapphire the day before, though I haven't had time to start it yet! That's my plan for today!

I can go without the gamecube adaptor really, but shopto has already dispatched mine so i pretty much have to just wait for it to arrive, hopefully monday. You can go out now and buy the game anywhere, its just that adaptor....
