Xenoblade Chronicles X is Almost Complete on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Producer of Xenoblade Chronicles X, Tetsuya Takahashi, has confirmed that the game is almost complete.

The team have been vocal on Twitter, updating fans on just how the game is coming along. The latest Tweets confirmed how despite "several obstacles," the team are wrapping up development on the game - "just a little more until it's complete," he teased.

Takahashi noted how it would bring him "great pleasure to have you folks get to thoroughly explore" the expansive, open world that has been highlighted in footage of the Wii U project so far.

Nintendo are aiming to release Xenoblade Chronicles X next year.

This is a surprise, considering how little we have heard of this I am shocked to see it nearly ready. Makes me feel like that they were working on Chronicles on the 3DS so that the two games can some how link up?

I can't wait for this, it's one of the reasons I bought a WiiU to begin with!

I really hope the world is well crafted so it can be full to the brim with monsters and busy cities. A barren world will not be half as interesting.

As far as I'm aware, the full statement is the first official confirmation of "online play". That's freaking huge news, can't wait to see how exactly it works. This isn't like Monster Hunter, where nobody cares about the story, after all. Separate mode is my bet, but a way to play the main game cooperatively would be amazing.
