Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal Demo Hits the eShop on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A demo for the forthcoming 3DS title Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal has been released onto the 3DS eShop after a surprise announcement in today's Nintendo Direct.

The game is part of a redesign for the Sonic the Hedgehog cast, and launches on 21st November alongside its Wii U counterpart, Rise of Lyric.

A special 3DS Home menu theme has also been announced, although it is currently unclear whether or not this will be free for purchasers of the eShop version.

Sonic Boom launches alongside a TV series and merchandise range this year.

Downloaded the demo but really don't like it. I'm so dissapointed. Hoped this would be a lot better and I got to play a demo of the Wii U game and that really wasn't good either. Such a shame, but I guess we shouldnt expect to much from the spikey blue one these days!
