Slender: The Arrival has been confirmed for a Wii U release via a listings on ratings board PEGI.

Developed by Blue Isle Studios, the sequel to the critically acclaimed Slender: The Eight Pages takes place within abandoned areas with distinctly different objectives. Using similar mechanics to the original, The Arrival equips players with a flashlight in a game of pure survival. "It contains: Images or sounds likely to be horrifying," reads the listing.
