Pokémon Gets Freaky Horror Images from Junji Ito

The Pokémon Company has collaborated with horror manga artist Junji Ito to create some rather creepy images. Pokémon has always had a horror element to the games, particularly the earlier and most recent generations, but what if the ghost critters were a little bit more freaky?

The Pokémon Company has released a teaser sketch from the collaboration with Ito, featuring a slightly demented Banette lurking in the background. The artwork will be available as a phone wallpaper, plus even printed on t-shirts for good measure.
