Nintendo sold over 705,000 units of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS across North America at launch.
In the first two days on sale since the game hit stores on 3rd October, Nintendo sold 705,000 units in total, with 135,000 of these through the Nintendo eShop. The latest multi-franchise brawler also help ed improve hardware uptake, with over 140,000 consoles within the 3DS family sold in September, an increase of 55% over sales during August.
Wii U hardware also saw an increase, with hardware sales almost doubling over August figures, partly due to Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors.
