How to Attach Faceplates to New Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo have uploaded short video guides for the New Nintendo 3DS consoles, including how to attach faceplates.

The new, revised Nintendo 3DS hardware allows players to swap out the front and back covers of their consoles with funky designs, colours and artwork for their favourite franchises.

To do so, however, will require a little manual care and attention, using a specific screwdriver to carefully remove the existing plates and bolting the new ones into place. The New Nintendo 3DS stylus even comes equipped with a small hinge to make attaching the covers a tad bit easier.
