Bayonetta 2 Demo Out Now on Wii U eShop on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A playable demo for Bayonetta 2 is available to download now on the European and North American Wii U eShop.

Nintendo has also released the launch trailer for the game.

Bayonetta 2 will be released on 24th October in Europe and North America, and 25th October in Australia.

Bit of a shame it's the E3 demo from a year and a half ago, but still good to play it again.

Won't download this myself since I plan on playing through the original again before the sequel. Just hope that this demo won't scare people off like the one for The Wonderful 101 did. It comes with the nature of Platinum's in-depth games, unless you're familiar with them you really can't get a good feel for what it's all like just from playing a short demo. I remember trying out The Wonderful 101's demo last year and it didn't click until I played through it a few times. Most people would quit and delete the demo after one try, though.

Bayonetta has the advantage of being a simpler game in a way, though, so hopefully it'll be fine.

Ah, I didn't know it was that E3 demo. I remember that one looked good and had more variety than the The Wonderful 101 one, which also could have used the prologue chapter with the tutorial. Should be fine then.
