Final Fantasy Explorers Won't Support 3D

Final Fantasy Explorers Won

Final Fantasy Explorers won't have support for the stereoscopic 3D output on Nintendo 3DS.

Developer Square Enix confirmed that the upcoming adventure won't use the visual technique, presumably to make the most of the available hardware capacity and maintain a solid performance.

The game will also use the Circle Pad Pro accessory, the optional second analogue stick, and the additional C-stick on the New Nintendo 3DS consoles. Additional shoulder buttons ZL will be used for monster targetting, and ZR for summon monster lock-on.

Do you think the lack of stereoscopic 3D in Final Fantasy Explorers is a wise move?

No.
Its daft. We should long have moved beyond these sorts of either/or choices.
3D naturally takes two channels to render, yes, so you can spend that elsewhere with it off.
But providing the option of 3D OR AA, should be very possible.
PC games have had these sorts of options for decades.
