When the Nintendo New 3DS consoles launch in Japan, there'll come with a pre-installed content filter.
The new, improved consoles will come with extra processing power through an upgraded CPU, and so will support video playback through an improved web browser. With the potential for more dodgy content to be shown through the handheld, Nintendo are stepping in and enforcing a pre-installed content filter on the new system.

A 30 yen fee ($0.29/17p) will be required for those who wish to look at the darker corners of the world wide web, payable through a credit card to verify age.
